Does it get any more comforting than this? Eggplant, sautéed in olive oil, Midwestern beef seasoned with cinnamon, béchamel sauce fortified with parmesan and dusted with nutmeg, layered together in the classic Greek dish of moussaka. It’s like lasagna but, dare we say, better?
