It's going to be a Naughty Summer!

A lot has gone down since our last update as we transition into summer! Speaking of summer, we have added THREE new tables outside TNG, because more customers + warm weather make our world go round! It's not Greece, but it's something! (it's actually Selby.)

Sure, patio seats are nice, but our feature on Eat.Drink.Dish is even cooler! TNG got its five minutes of fame when the hottest instagram in the Twin Cities (source: CityPages) paid us a visit! Our pork gyro felt like a real movie star, posing for cameras left and right. We never doubted Eat.Drink.Dish's status, but they proved they were deserving of the coveted #1 instagram spot when they stood on our chairs to get a better shot.  We'll be featured on their social media throughout the month, check out that dedication below!

 That's dedication!

That's dedication!

Staff Spotlights

Since our last blog we have had not one, not two, but THREE staff spotlights featured on our social media. Joe, Jana and Angelo are the glue that holds the Naughty team together....check them out below!

"I have known angelo for about ten years or so, and when he said he was starting TNG, I knew I had to be a part of it. My husband and I are both chefs, and we have had a catering business for 17 years, so this felt like a perfect fit! I do a little bit of everything here, primarily the prep work, sometimes I think of new recipes, but that's mostly Angelo! I really love the people I get to work with here, and our amazing customers! I actually live out in wayzata and commute here everyday, which I think speaks to how much I love the atmosphere and the staff of TNG! What's something fun about me? Hmm. I have four kids but I don't know how fun that is"

"I started TNG because I miss authentic Greek food, and I want to share my love and passion for it with others. I try hard to represent the cuisine as traditionally and authentically as possible, and my goal is to spread an appreciation of it throughout the Twin Cities. In order for food to be authentic, the ingredients need to be fresh, and the recipes need to be straight from Greece. I was inspired to open TNG by my father, who also opened a restaurant after finishing his career. It's located in the most magical village called Monemvasia, in a walled city with no cars. He bought a house in the center of the marketplace and transformed it into the restaurant I grew up in. So far, the most rewarding part of this experience has been the people...I get hugs from customers, that's amazing! I am so thankful that the Greek community and the neighborhood have embraced us, it means so much to me. It has been difficult at times, but so rewarding as well"

This Blog is cool, but check out some of our new site pages!
